In May 2013 we officially unveiled the first 5 of our Loggerheads - tree trunks that have been carved and painted into life sized statues. The theme of the Loggerheads is 'Famous Tasmanians', and our eclectic bunch of characters are dotted around the property. We commissioned Tasmanian artist Julian Bale to create the sculptures and the results are fantastic.

David Foster OAM was a world champion woodchopper - not once, but for 21 years in a row! He is the first person in sporting history to have won 1,000 championships. Not only that, he actively supports many cultural, charitable and community activities. Find out more about David at his website.
